An easy-to-follow morning podcast that helps to set your headspace for the day. Not always enough time to absorb one thought before Deepak moves to the next, but great bite-sized reminders to keep mindfulness a part of your daily routine.
Daily Breath with Deepak Chopra is a short podcast (approximately 3-5 minutes in length each) that you can listen to first thing in the morning or right before you go to bed.
Deepak talks about a wide range of topics including stress, technology, patience and empathy. It gives you an opportunity to pause and reflect on things you might forget about in your day-to-day. Once a week, this podcast also includes a guided meditation that takes about 10 minutes. For someone constantly on the go, I don’t feel like I have to commit a lot of time to it. And, if I miss a couple episodes, I can listen to a couple at a time to catch up.
There is advertising in the podcast, which sometimes feels like it comes up at the wrong time (i.e. right after a meditation) but this is normal for most podcasts today. Overall, a great podcast to listen to if you are trying to practice daily mindfulness.
