Current and classic episodes, featuring compelling true-crime mysteries, powerful documentaries and in-depth investigations
Dateline NBC is an investigative series that uncovers true crime mysteries, mostly located in the United States. Episodes typically range from exploring murders to disappearances. The host guides the audience through the story, as audio clips from the crime scene and news coverage are sliced in. Soundscapes are strategically used to transport the listener to the scene of the story. In the beginning of each episode, the show teases out what will happen, starting off with who the story is about and building up to a point of tension.
If you’re looking for a highly produced podcast that keeps you on your toes, I highly recommend Dateline. However, keep in mind that most episodes run for 1.5 hours.
